Fresh FM welcomes new General Manager 18th February 2026 Fresh FM in Te Tauihu has welcomed Delena Britnell as its new General Manager, marking an exciting new chapter for the community access station.Fresh FM is one of 12 Community Access Media stations across Aotearoa represented by the Community Access Media Alliance (CAMA). As a provider of Section 36(c) services under the Broadcasting Act, Fresh FM plays a vital role in enabling local communities to create content “by, for, and about” themselves.Delena brings a strong commitment to community connection, storytelling, and inclusive participation. Since stepping into the role, she has begun engaging with Fresh FM’s diverse programme makers, from arts and culture broadcasters to ethnic language shows, youth-led content, disability advocates, and community organisations.“It’s an honour to join a station with such a wide range of voices, cultures, and perspectives,” Delena says.“Fresh FM is a trusted platform for local stories.
